If you live anywhere near the Plaza, you felt it the morning after June 25. Overnight, Sonoma landed on the Michelin map—and did it with force. Enclos debuted with two Michelin stars and a Green Star, the first recognition ever for the City of Sonoma.
Enclos sits in an 1880s Victorian a block off the Plaza at 139 E. Napa St. The dining room holds about 30 guests, seating each table once per night, Wednesday through Saturday. The single-seating service makes sense of two stars: it’s intimate, deliberate and slow.
Booking math is simple: four service nights a week translates to about 16 dinners per month, roughly 480 total seats. The tasting menu runs $250 per person, plus a 20% service charge and $5 fee. Reservations for the following month open on the first; by early July, the book was nearly sold out through October.
