ELKTON — A man caught with cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms in October when officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at an Elkton residence is facing more than 20 years in prison after a judge convicted him of three charges, according to Cecil County Circuit Court records.
Cecil County Circuit Court Administrative Judge Brenda A. Sexton found the defendant – Novell Cook, 34, of Elkton – guilty of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance with intent to distribute and two lesser charges on Wednesday (Aug. 13), after a one-day bench trial, court records show.
