Toledo leaders considering ending minimum parking requirements

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo city leaders are weighing a proposal to scale back parking lot requirements, a move they said could encourage new development.

“When somebody does any kind of development in the city, residential, commercial, industrial, they have to build a certain amount of parking alongside their development,” said Toledo council member Mac Driscoll.
