KDHE: Dead fish found in Chisholm Creek Park caused by low dissolved oxygen

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) released its findings after dozens of fish were found dead at Chisholm Lake North in Wichita.

The KDHE said this was a natural fish kill caused by low dissolved oxygen levels. They explained that high temperatures are primarily responsible for this phenomenon.
