SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Sioux Falls Regional Airport experienced a power outage Friday night.
Airport Operations says that at approximately 7 p.m., the Sioux Falls Regional Airport experienced an airport-wide power outage. This reduced the number of open jet lanes to one, leading to many airplanes being grounded with no way to disembark passengers.
Big cooldown coming in final days of August
At approximately 9 p.m., partial power was restored to the airport. Terminal and airport operations are back up and running, with parts of the airfield waiting for power to return.
