TROY — Two historic buildings on Second Avenue in Lansingburgh will be demolished by the city after an inspection found that they are at risk of collapse, Troy Mayor Carmella R. Mantello announced Friday.
Mantello signed an emergency declaration earlier in the day for the immediate demolition of 624-630 Second Ave. Due to the emergency demolition, Second Avenue between 115th and 118th streets will be closed until further notice, the mayor’s office announced.
