Inner Harbor Water Treatment Campus votes moved to Sep. 2

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two City Council votes tied to the Inner Harbor Water Treatment Campus, the city’s planned desalination facility, have been rescheduled for Sept. 2.

The items were originally on the Aug. 26 agenda. One concerns a contract amendment to continue design work through the 60% milestone and develop a guaranteed maximum price. Council last discussed that proposal on July 29 and postponed it for 30 days.

The other item involves accepting the second round of funding from the Texas Water Development Board through the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas low-interest loan program.
