2025 Veterans Expo held in northeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The 2025 Veterans’ Expo was held Saturday in northeast Wichita.

This is the tenth year for the expo, and organizers say it is one of their most successful, with the largest crowd they have seen compared to previous years. Over 70 different organizations that provide services to veterans in the community attended, offering information about their programs and services.

After 5-month closure, Wichita library branch reopens

The event is organized by a coalition of local groups dedicated to assisting Kansas veterans. The expo included organizations like Passegways, which assists veterans in finding housing, Midwest Battle Buddies, which provides service dogs, employment services, education, and senior care, as well as representatives from Veterans Affairs, helping veterans register for benefits, healthcare, or file claims.
