U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (KKTV) – The U.S. Air Force Academy hosted a wildfire-and-flood tabletop exercise on Wednesday to strengthen readiness and coordination for large-scale emergencies.
Representatives for the academy said the exercise was designed to test decision-making, communication, and cross-jurisdictional response under stress.
More than 100 participants took part in the exercise, including Academy leaders and staff, representatives from El Paso County, the cities of Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado Defense Alliance, local military liaisons, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development…
