HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A firefighter who was the lead arson investigator on one of Evansville’s most high profile murder cases has died.
Family members say Jesse Storey passed away Friday. Storey was a familiar face on area newscasts for about three decades, as he investigated many arsons in Evansville including the Tamara Loehr murder case that ended with Evansville police officer Patrick Bradford convicted of her murder.
Family members say Storey died from complications from surgery. He battled several health problems since retiring from the fire department. Funeral arrangements are pending. He was 66 years old…
