Review board says Providence police assisted ICE agents during July arrest

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The Providence External Review Authority concluded that the Providence police officers violated department and city policies while interacting with ICE agents last month.

According to the outside group that reviews police activity, the officers assisted ICE agents in conducting civil immigration enforcement operations during that arrest.
