BOSTON — On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Boston police officers assigned to District B-2 in Roxbury arrested Nathias Villanueva, 18, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on multiple firearm-related charges.
At approximately 12:20 a.m., officers on patrol in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Washington Street observed a group of individuals dressed in black running across the street while holding their waistbands and attempting to conceal themselves behind trees. Officers exited their cruiser and approached the group on foot, announcing their presence. The group fled in different directions, and during a foot pursuit, officers observed a suspect clutching his waistband.
