Hot and sunny with lower humidity!

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Welcome to the weekend! We saw a slight cooldown through this week that pushed temperatures to the low to mid 90s, but highs are starting to recover back towards the average. As temperatures creep back to the average, the humidity will remain relatively low, making us feel not as awful as we could be with the humidity. Highs rose into the upper 90s for a few areas and the lower to middle 90s everywhere else. We are expecting quiet weather through the night with the lower humidity remaining into tomorrow!

We are expecting very similar conditions for Sunday with little to no chance for rain through the day. As we move into the new workweek, the major cold front will have finally moved through the ArkLaTex. This front will make highs drop to the 80s around the region from Tuesday through the end of the week! However, it comes with chances for rain, especially through midweek! We should see slightly drier weather by Thursday before storms become more likely by Friday…
