American Airlines flight makes emergency landing at Dulles after passenger’s device catches fire: officials

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — An American Airlines flight destined for Phoenix was forced to land at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) on Saturday after a passenger’s device reportedly caught fire.

American Airlines Flight 357 landed safely at Dulles at around 11:50 a.m. after the crew reported a fire in one of the passenger rows, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
