Talladega man killed in Shelby County crash

SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A Talladega man was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Shelby County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Jeffrey Crandell, 42, was killed when the Nissan 350Z he was operating left the roadway and struck a tree. Crandell was reportedly not wearing a seat belt. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
