38 People Were Arrested In Niagara County This Week

Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting people accused of crimes. Niagara County is made up of quite a few cities, towns, and villages, including the City of Lockport, the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Lewiston, the Town of Lockport, the Town of Wheatfield, and the Village of Youngstown.

Recently, Theodore J. Patti was busted thanks to a collaboration between the Niagara County Drug Task Force and the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force. The 37-year-old Lockport resident is facing one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. He was booked into the Niagara County Jail on August 6, 2025, at 12:57 am. The details of his alleged crimes have not been released, per the Department’s Facebook page.

Another inmate at the Niagara County Jail threw an unknown liquid, which may have been bodily fluids, at a deputy. Per the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, 43-year-old Melissa Biscotto threw the liquid around 3:36 pm on Friday, August 15, 2025. The officer was hit in the head, arm, and chest with the liquid, which resulted in an additional charge of harassment for Biscotto. She is due in Lockport Court on September 18, 2025.

Last week, 38 people were arrested in Niagara County – the same number as this week. Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting 31 people accused of crimes. Each of the people below is considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Contact me here.
