MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Cloudy skies will continue tonight across the area. We have the chance of seeing some showers and maybe even a rumble of thunder overnight. Lows will be in the low 70s area wide.
Heading into Sunday, we will see partly to mostly cloudy skies. A small chance at some isolated thunderstorms will be possible. We could see a little more sunshine peak out by Sunday afternoon. Overnight lows will be again in the low 70s. As we head into Monday more westwardly winds will help temperatures warm into the upper 80s, close to 90 degrees. This will likely be the hottest day of the next week. We will see plenty of sunshine inland. An isolated storm will be possible along the coast Monday afternoon.
A cold front will pass through the area Monday night. This will bring in much drier air for the entire area. We will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Most days along the coast will be in the low to mid 80s. Inland we will see highs in the low 80s. Overnight lows will be where the real cool down shows up.
