Blacksburg, Va. – Virginia will wake up to a different feel in the air Monday as a cold front sweeps through overnight, replacing recent humidity with cooler, drier conditions across the state.
According to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, dew points will fall sharply into the 40s and 50s by Monday evening, making the air feel noticeably less humid. The front will arrive overnight and by Monday afternoon, much of western and central Virginia will experience the change.
Cities including Roanoke, Blacksburg, and Lynchburg can expect daytime highs to remain seasonably warm in the upper 70s to low 80s, but the drop in humidity will make conditions far more comfortable for outdoor activities.
