Road Warrior: Upcoming ODOT project to introduce flashing-yellow left arrows

When I wrote last month advocating for the introduction of flashing-yellow left arrows on Ohio traffic lights, I was unaware that a handful of them already exist in the state.

None, however, are in northwest Ohio. At least, not yet.

But the Ohio Department of Transportation has plans to introduce such arrows when it replaces signals at two adjacent Ottawa County corners: the staggered junction of State Rts. 163 and 269 east of Port Clinton…
