APPLETON (WLUK) – Preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation -Those are the four phases of emergency management. Outagamie County Emergency Management officials putting that on display as it encourages the community to make sure it’s prepared should an emergency situation happen.
Tucked in the basement of the Outagamie County courthouse building sits the county’s emergency management office and its emergency operations center. It’s a space they hope they never have to use, but one that’s vital to community safety.
