Rashuad Fontenberry, a 33-year-old former New Orleans resident, pleaded guilty to carjacking charges last week. The plea stems from a violent incident at a local gas station on September 5, 2022, where Fontenberry and an accomplice targeted a woman for her vehicle and belongings.

According to court documents, the victim had stopped at a gas station to purchase snacks and parked near the fuel pumps.
