Nebraska-Iowa Weather Alert: Dense Fog and Storm Chances Impact Omaha Roads Through Monday Morning

Omaha, Neb. – Drivers across eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa face patchy dense fog early Monday, with visibility dropping near a quarter-mile along stretches of I-80 and Highway 75. Motorists should allow extra time for the morning commute and use low-beam headlights.

According to the National Weather Service in Omaha, fog is expected to lift after sunrise, but scattered showers or weak storms could follow later in the day from Creighton through Fremont to Lincoln. Roadways may become slick, and isolated downpours could slow traffic during the afternoon.
