COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -A new change by European postal companies could impact the delivery of international shipments to the United States.
On Saturday, postal companies in Germany, Sweden, Italy, France, and other countries announced they would not send goods that would arrive after August 29, when U.S. tariffs on their goods would be imposed. One economist commented on what this means for foreign goods.
Joe Craig, the UCCS Chair of Economics, said, “I would expect to see prices coming up. I can say for a fact that if you only added tariffs, prices would eventually go up, but there are many other things that could be going on with the economy that could counteract that as well.”…
