FIRST ALERT FORECAST – A major uptick in storm activity

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – We’ll have a major, but brief uptick in storm activity starting tomorrow through Tuesday. Therefore, we’re now issuing a First Alert Weather Day on Monday, alongside the existing one on Tuesday. Storm activity falls off by Wednesday through the end of the week. More storms are possible by early next week.

Today is the last of 5 straight First Alert Weather Days due to an Extreme Heat Warning ending at 8:00 pm this evening. The uptick in moisture & storms, as well as a receding heat dome, will allow for temps to cool to the 90s by tomorrow, bottoming out in the low-to-mid 90s on Tuesday. Temps slowly warm back up to around 100 by later in the week.
