CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (Cville Right Now) – Two weeks after the resignation of General Registrar Lauren Eddy, the Albemarle County Electoral Board will hold two meetings this week, Tuesday and Thursday.
The meetings, one regularly-scheduled, the other an addition to the calendar, could offer insight into what led to Eddy’s resignation.
According to minutes from the board’s Aug. 11 meeting, “the General Registrar is currently the subject of an investigation and is on administrative leave.”…
