(WKBN) — A Dayton man pulled over by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and found to have over $8,000 worth of cocaine in his car was sentenced last week in Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
Davion Black will serve 12 to 21 years in prison on charges of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, aggravated trafficking in drugs and having weapons under disability. Three cases against Balck were combined into one for his prosecution, stemming from an investigation that was launched following the traffic stop.

Black was arrested in November 2024 after he was pulled over on state Route 348 in Scioto County for a lane violation. Troopers said they saw drug residue and a gun inside the 2022 Chevy Malibu he was driving.
