Warrick County Democratic Party speaks up after town hall scuffle

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Warrick County Democratic Party is speaking up after last week’s chaotic town hall with Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor.

Amanda Bennett and Matthew Eike were arrested on Wednesday at the town hall. Warrick County Sheriff’s Deputies say Bennett became increasingly agitated with the lieutenant governor through the evening. Authorities say that as Bennett left the room, she shoved a deputy. She was then taken to the ground and arrested.

Eike was also arrested. Deputies say he was seen shoving another man and screaming, and resisting arrest. A third person, Kellie Moore, was not arrested at the event but was later charged with battery against a public safety official…
