Mobile man indicted on murder charge after Air Force girlfriend shot and killed

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Mobile man has been indicted on multiple charges in Escambia County, including murder, after his girlfriend, a United States Air Force Airman, was shot and run over with a vehicle.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 30-year-old Charles Carson-Dowdy was indicted on charges of cyberstalking, interstate domestic violence, murder through use of a firearm, discharging a firearm during a crime of violence, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
