Massachusetts doctor loses license over improper prescriptions

BOSTON (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine has suspended the medical license of a doctor who practices telemedicine.

In a news release from the Board, Dr. Trung N. Nguyen was first licensed in Massachusetts in 2021 and is board-certified in family medicine. He was found to have improperly prescribed amphetamine and amphetamine-like controlled substances in the treatment of obesity.
