Minn. law banning students from signing statements of faith for college classes is struck down

MINNEAPOLIS – A federal judge has struck down a Minnesota law prohibiting a ban on high school students signing statements of faith.

Schools can once again mandate they follow faith-based values and conduct standards to take classes for college credit.

Judge Nancy Brasel ruled in favor of Crown College in Saint Bonifacius and University of Northwestern in Roseville saying the law violated religious freedom protections…
