Bait shop auction to clear out inventory

RAVENNA, Ohio (WJW) – A local bait shop has closed its doors, and after auctioning off many items, such as rods and reels, a second auction will take place to clear the remaining inventory from the store.

According to KIKO Auctions, after years of successful business, the owner of Mark’s Bait and Tackle Shop on State Route 14 in Ravenna is retiring. The owner, Mark Burkey told FOX 8 that he has sold bait for nearly a quarter of a century, closing his store only twice over all the years, but now, he said it’s time to reel it in.
