Hendersonville has a packed Labor Day weekend coming up, with the 79th annual North Carolina Apple Festival, King Apple Parade and Hendersonville Farmer’s Market scheduled Aug. 29-Sept. 1.
The festival, founded in 1946, has an average attendance of 250,000 people, according to previous Times-News reporting.
