New Ann Arbor transportation manager has task of making city streets better, safer

ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor has filled another key role in city government.

Malisa McCreedy is the city’s new transportation manager effective Monday, Aug. 25, the city announced, saying she brings over 20 years of leadership experience in public-sector transportation, mobility systems and planning.

She comes to Ann Arbor as the city is on a quest to improve transportation safety and reduce driving by making it easier and safer for people to walk, bike and ride the bus…
