Lowcountry agencies, organizations team up to fight opioid epidemic

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and local advocacy groups are sounding the alarm on overdoses in the Lowcountry.

“Addiction is not a crime. It’s a public health crisis,” Charleston County Sheriff Carl Ritchie said.
