ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two more suspects wanted in connection with a deadly July shooting along Interstate 40 were arrested Monday evening.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed to News 2 that the agency assisted the Metro Nashville Police Department with a manhunt in Robertson County near the Cheatham County border at around 5:30 p.m. A multi-vehicle crash was reported along Interstate 24 westbound near mile marker 23 at about 6:53 p.m. and Cheatham County residents were advised to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for the MNPD said the manhunt was related to a murder suspect wanted out of Nashville. A social media post from the MNPD identified the two suspects as 24-year-old Keilon Williams and 20-year-old James Redmond. The two were wanted in connection with a July shooting on Interstate 40 in Hermitage during which 26-year-old Tyquan Jackson was killed.
