Wanted Fresno man uses human shield, bites officer during arrest

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A wanted man was arrested after using a bystander as a human shield and biting a K-9 officer while resisting detainment Monday afternoon, the Fresno Police Department announced.

According to police, just after 12:20 p.m., they received a call regarding a man with a bloody arm inside the McDonald’s at Cedar and Dakota avenues, refusing to leave.

Upon arrival, responding officers reported locating the man outside the nearby Robertitos. As officers approached, they identified him as a suspect wanted for a felony of robbery who was also on parole for home invasion…
