Van Buren County Marine Patrol responds to watercraft emergency

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office reports its Marine Patrol responded to a watercraft emergency on Lake Michigan involving a jet ski that had flipped and was taking on water around 1:21 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities arrived on scene via the department’s 21-foot patrol vessel and patrol jet ski equipped with a rescue board.
