Lost wallet leads Hillsborough deputies to Tampa man linked to homicide case

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa man wanted in connection with a 2023 homicide case in Michigan was arrested Sunday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Hillsborough deputies said the Temple Terrace Police Department contacted them after 34-year-old Daniel Ray Partee’s wallet was turned in to their office by a citizen on Saturday.

Investigators learned that Partee lived in Tampa and had an active fugitive warrant from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety for the 2023 homicide of Kunta Tavarius Davis…
