As predicted by Edhat, SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink internet satellites on August 22, less than a week after completing its 100th mission of 2025.
At 10:04 AM Friday, a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 24 Starlink spacecraft lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Just over eight minutes later, the rocket’s first stage successfully landed on the drone ship Of Course I Still Love You.
This marked the 17th flight and recovery for the veteran booster B1081. About two minutes after liftoff, the rocket could be seen soaring high above the Santa Barbara Channel, as shown above.
