GARLAND, Texas — One man is behind bars and another is in the hospital after a Monday evening shooting in a residential neighborhood, according to the Garland Police Department.
The department said a man shot another man in the 1800 block of Dalewood Trail, blocks away from the Harmony School of Innovation, just after 6:10 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the victim shot.
Officers immediately searched the area, found the suspect on a nearby street, and took him into custody, according to GPD. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition, GPD said…
