Nordstrom exit from St. Louis Galleria disappoints shoppers

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. – The St. Louis Galleria has lost one of its longtime anchor stores. Nordstrom officially closed its Richmond Heights location on Sunday, ending more than two decades at the popular shopping center.

The closure was first announced in June, when the company said the store would not renew its lease. About 135 employees are affected, though Nordstrom says it is working to help staff transition into other roles within the company.
