ENUMCLAW, Wash. — A man who was turned down when he entered a convenience store asking for free gas and food is now in jail for investigation of arson.
The Enumclaw Police Department (EPD) said that on Sunday at 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to a burglary at a 7-Eleven at 2415 Griffin Avenue. Dispatchers told police a man barricaded himself in the store office and refused to come out.
EPD and Black Diamond officers tried to get the suspect to come out, but he didn’t respond and was out of sight…
