CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Nearly 300 animals are now out of a local animal shelter and into a loving forever home following a two-day adoption blitz.
News 2 and tri-county animal shelters partnered for the annual Clear the Shelters event on Saturday. The goal is to find homes for all dogs, cats, and other animals living at a local shelter.
Shelter leaders say 187 pets were adopted from the Charleston Animal Society’s main campus and Berkeley campus between Saturday and Sunday, while 18 were adopted from Pet Helpers, and 11 found new homes from Dorchester Paws…
