Budget for ’26 fiscal year approved by County Commission with no property tax increase

Robertson County residents will see no changes to their property taxes after the County Commission recently voted in favor of the proposed budget for the new fiscal year.

At its meeting on Aug. 18, the Robertson County Commission unanimously approved the county budget for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2026. It maintains the current property tax rate while continuing to fund various services including education, public safety, road maintenance, sanitation, and debt repayment.

An additional resolution establishing the property tax levy passed in a 22-1 vote, with Martin Morgan the lone commissioner to vote no.
