JASPER — A several-month-long investigation by the Indiana State Police and the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of five people on various drug charges. The investigation was initiated after authorities received multiple complaints and tips from the public.

A separate stop of Harrison’s vehicle led to the arrest of both Harrison and his passenger, Haylee Moog, 24, of Boonville, on charges of dealing methamphetamine.
The investigation continued, and on August 15, police located and arrested Ora Murphy, 41, of Richland City, who was allegedly assisting Harrison. At the time of his arrest, police found approximately 32.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as marijuana and a controlled substance belonging to Harrison.
On August 19, police received information that Robert Payton, 61, of Rockport, was also involved in drug activity with Harrison.
