HUNTSVILLE — In a move to strengthen operations and improve response time and community accessibility to a growing South Huntsville, the Huntsville Police Department’s South Precinct headquarters is planning a move.
While the new precinct is still in the early planning stages, the selected property is strategically located south of the Logan Drive and Commerce Parkway intersection, behind the Kroger shopping center and just south of Community Fellowship Baptist Church, HPD said.
“The new South Precinct is about strengthening our operations,” Chief Kirk Giles said. “From response times to accessibility, this facility will help us to continue delivering the highest level of service to our community.”…
