Pensacola man hit, killed by car

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man was killed Sunday morning after he was hit by a car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At about 5:30 a.m., the 55-year-old man was walking in the westbound lanes of Fairfield Drive, west of South Dakota Street, “with (an) unknown direction of travel” when a car driven by a 23-year-old woman hit him, an FHP news release said.
