A tragic incident unfolded on I-69 in Sugar Land when a fatal collision occurred between an SUV and a tractor-trailer, claiming the life of a passenger and inflicting injuries on the driver. The intensity of the crash was evident as the SUV was said to have struck the tractor-trailer at a high rate of speed, and it was the passenger-side of the car that made contact with the trailer. Subsequently, the passenger in the SUV was confirmed dead at the scene by Sugar Land police. The driver’s condition was not immediately clear following transportation for medical treatment.
