Lincoln City Council signs off on removal of 29 Goodhue Boulevard trees

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln City Council on Monday night approved the removal and replacement of several trees on Goodhue Boulevard.

The council voted 4-1 to move forward with the Parks and Recreation Department’s plan to remove 29 trees, despite an appeal by one neighborhood resident.

An average of five to six trees a block will be torn out from A to F streets…
