TripAdvisor named New Orleans as the top food city in the U.S. in its 2025 Best of the Best food destinations, and four of the top five cities were in the South, which didn’t come as a shock to the staff at Southern Living.
So the magazine polled its readers to see which Southern restaurants should be on people’s bucket lists.
